National Account Manager

LTI Trucking Services, based outside of St. Louis, is seeking a National Account Manager to develop new business within our existing portfolio of accounts and through new customer acquisition. LTI Trucking Services is an asset-based truckload carrier and third-party logistics provider. One of the Top 500 For-Hire Carriers in the country, our niche offerings include regional and super-regional truckload service, dedicated services, spotting and shuttling services and OTR brokerage services.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in transportation sales, preferably selling asset and brokerage services
  • Documented success of building and growing customer relationships
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, qualify and manage opportunities with customers whose needs fit within areas of company strength
  • Adding prospects to portfolio, acquiring new customers, and maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers
  • Manage Sales pipeline
  • Work with internal operational teams in onboarding and continued management of book of business from a strategic level and serving as an escalation point of contact
  • Heavy prospecting and using various mediums to build and develop new business opportunities
  • Perform various activities related to Opportunity Management and monitoring the health of book of business
  • Meet performance expectations and drive critical activities to completion

 

This will be a hybrid role that will require some time at the corporate HQ in Madison, IL. Candidates will be considered from St. Louis, the Greater Midwest, Dallas TX, or Atlanta GA.
